What do you do today to make a living?
I have been really fortunate. I do a little bit of a few different things. I just sold my coffee house that I ran for six years so I am in a transitional period. I manage my family’s income property, co-manage a Charter Fishing business with my partner who is a seasonal fisherman and I build and maintain websites. I have always seemed to be able to make a decent living, travel a lot and not be tied down to a 9 to 5 schedule. I work mostly in the summer and take most of the winters off.
Describe the worst moment of failure in your creative/ entrepreneurial career.
Honestly, nothing really comes to mind. I pretty much do anything I decide to do. By the time I would have gotten too scared to do something, I’ve already tried it. My failures have come from not sticking to any one thing and following it through. I get mired in details and try to do too many things. In some cases I will never know how far I could have taken myself if I had just stuck to the process in one area.
Describe the best success you've experienced in your field.
Buying a coffee house, building up the business and turning it over for a good profit would be considered a success...
