Did you ever think of quitting or giving up, and more importantly why did you keep going?
Of course. We all have doubts. But as cliché as it is, this is my dream since I was a little kid. There are people in I've known all of my life that had similar aspirations when they were young. I've seen many of them give up their dreams to the responsibilities of life and their unwillingness/inability to overcome the obstacles that stand in the way. It seems like every time I get low enough to want to give up, someone or something reminds me of why I wanted to do this in the first place–it is the most pure form of self expression I have. So sometimes the reminder is praise. Other times it's the awkward mirror of my peers. But in the end I know I'll never stop creating something that expresses how I feel about the world I live in, and want to share that with other like-minded individuals.
In this crazy world, what is your best advice for a budding entrepreneur, artist, or innovator?
Be specific and singular whenever possible. Pay homage to (hell, wildly steal from) those who have influenced you for sure–but say something unique, personal and...
