In this crazy world, what is your best advice for a budding entrepreneur, artist, or innovator?

My advice for the entrepreneur would be: be prepared to start over, constantly.

My advice for the artist would be: As much as you may want to avoid the business side of your artistic endeavors, doing so will most likely mean you have a very short career as an artist. If you want the time to develop your craft into expertise, you've got to get a firm grip on your business model.
