What was your first job ever?
Aside from short lived stints picking corn (2 whole days) or babysitting or mowing lawns or selling food tickets at the fireman’s carnival my first regular job was working at Bud's Polar Bear which was an ice cream shop and diner. I was fifteen.
Talk about how you felt after high school versus today on the question "what do you want to be when you grow up?"
I knew I wanted to be an artist but I didn't know what that really meant or what art I wanted to make, I just knew I liked to draw. Now I know what I want to make and what it'll take to do it and I hope I get to one day.
What do you do today to make a living?
I just started a job as a rural postal carrier. It might be the most stressful job I've had as far as what needs to get done in what amount of time. It's only a few days a week though so I'm not totally burnt out yet. I was working in the mail processing plant before this for 5 weeks and that was 6 days a week and around ten hours a night and constantly moving and lifting and sweating factory work...
